    4 Years bachelor Degree

    PASC is offering 3 differrent major courses for students.

The Seminary & College offers courses covering years 11-15 on the college educational level. The Seminary is administratively structured into six academic departments, four of which offer programmes of study leading to diplomas and degrees. These are the Business, Education, Language and Religion Departments. The Science and General Education sections are academic departments but do not offer degree or diploma programmes. Courses of study are offered in English. Students may enter the programme of their choice depending on their ability in English. If requirements for English medium classes have not been met, the student must register for an English Proficiency Programme. A Denominational Enrichment Programme in Elementary Education is offered by the Education Department. Two-year diploma courses carrying academic credit are offered in the English medium in Business Administration, Elementary Education, Language, and Secretarial Practice. Equivalent English medium courses are offered in Elementary Education and Language. A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with majors in accounting, management and marketing is offered by the Business Department. The other departments offer Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Religion. All of these programmes are in the English medium. The Religion Department offers a two-year non-credit Proficiency Certificate in Ministerial Education, primarily in the Urdu medium through correspondence.

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN MINISTRY

Course Description

The main aim of the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree program is that through a focus on biblical, historical, theological, and practical studies, the programme equip the student with the knowledge, skills and character needed for effective Seventh Day Adventist service in local churches and other ministries. Graduates find employment in the Pakistan Seventh Day Church as well as abroad. The programme is mainly taught in English.

DEGREE STRUCTURE AND REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION

For the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree, 130 credit hours are required for graduation. General education courses comprise 18 credit hours, foundation courses comprise 16 credit hours, cognate courses comprise 5 credit hours, core professional courses comprise 91 credit hours.

BACHELOR OF LIBERAL ARTS IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Course Description

The field of education is the only profession that trains those who will serve in all other professions. The Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Elementary Education degree at Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College is designed with this idea in mind. God’s Word and His Truths are foundational in all course work and the main aims are to prepare sound professional Elementary Education teachers who can interpret the elementary school curriculum correctly and at the same time integrate Biblical principles in all areas of knowledge producing a dynamic learning environment. Strong emphasis in English opens the doors for jobs in the school system of Pakistan, specially the SDA education system, and abroad.

For the BLA in Elementary Education degree, 130 credit hours are required for graduation. General education courses comprise 28 credit hours, foundation courses comprise 24 credit hours, cognate courses comprise 24 credit hours, and core professional courses comprise 54 credit hours.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Course Description

The broad aims of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program are to prepare students for employment in areas of accounting, finance, and management in the commercial sector (profit and not-for-profit organizations). Graduates find ready employment in management, accounting, and finance sections of organizations because of the breadth of the program, its emphasis on values and the thoroughness of the preparation of the student.

DEGREE STRUCTURE AND REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION

For the BBA degree, 130 credit hours are required for graduation. General education courses comprise 21 credit hours, foundation courses comprise 29 credit hours, cognate courses comprise 14 credit hours, core professional courses comprise 41 credit hours, and professional emphasis courses comprise 29 credit hours.
